Spring Break Recap
Friday - window people came. it was loud. but now we have nice windows! ...but they need to redo the ones in the bedrooms because they don't open and uh...they have to open (my family is trying to kill me -.-' )
Rest of the weekend was spent with Kevin hanging out either at his house or at Lyn's house :)
Monday - stayed home
Tuesday - Missa texted me about things to do in MPK because she was bored, so I ended up going out with her. We went to Shau May and got smoothies, and then walked. In fact we walked all the way to Cha for Tea and Nucleus! (which...takes about 10 minutes to get to by car, so you can imagine how long it takes to walk haha). On the way we stopped at My Tattoo because she wanted to see their portfolios and she got an idea for a tattoo, but we ended up just leaving without actually talking to anyone.
After tea at Cha, and wandering around looking at the artbooks and stuff at Nucleus, we took the bus back to her house and sat around the pool talking (OUCH mosquitos bit me, and I usually never get bitten ><' ). After a while we got hungry, and her bf Daisuke drove us to this hamburger place in Montebello for dinner before dropping me off at home
Wednesday - Went with Lyn and Barb to Ralphs to pick up some stuff for Saturday, then went back to Lyn's house where we tried making jello shots. the one never actually set and had to be tossed (lime jello with key lime pie creme liqueur ...it just curdled bleh) After that they watched a couple of episodes of Weeds before taking me home.
Thursday - Stayed home and tried(again) to dl a working copy of Dragon Age
Friday - My mom took me with her to work, where Kevin picked me up. We went to Walmart to buy the table Tracy, Michael, Kevin and I were splitting for Lyn's birthday gift, then went to a korean tofu place for lunch. After lunch, we got some tea at Guppies (ew, their tea sucks. i guess only their shaved ice is good :[ ) and then headed back to his dorm to bum. I got to play God of War III! Awesome! :D
When it was nearing 8pm, we headed off to the theater arts area and got in to see Evita. I actually liked the musical a lot ^^ I felt bad for the actors though because halfway through, the emergency alarms went off so they had to like...come to a smooth finish and look composed while the audience left the building. We stood outside for a good half an hour before being let back in, I didn't see any fire trucks/police or anything, so it must have just been a false alarm. After the play ended, we headed back for home. We ate at U2 for dinner, then went back to Kevin's place before he took me home.
Saturday - Went with Kevin and his family to this used car place called Eastern Auto where there were two Lexus IS300s he wanted to look at, a silver and a black one. He wanted the silver one, but it was 14,000 so his dad was trying to haggle with the guy, and it wasn't going anywhere. After a bit of that it was nearing time for my hair appt, so Kevin dropped me off and went back to the dealer. I got highlights put in my hair, had her add a couple of extra layers around my face, and make the bottom look not quite so blunt. I'm happy with it all! :D After I was done, Kevin picked me up and told me that his parents actually bought the car! :O! So, we went back to pick up the car, had to drop it off at his house (no insurance for it yet) then got Missa and headed to Ralphs to get a couple of supplies before going to Lyn's house for her birthday party :D Joseph, Amy, Dennis and Barb were already there, and Michael came a bit after we did. We ate then ended up playing this drinking game called Kings cup (except...most of us either had non-alcoholic drinks/very slightly alcoholic ones) Late into the game Jonathan arrived and played the 2nd game with us...which took at least 2 hours because someone came up with the rule that after every turn everyone had to tell an embarassing story/secret -_-'
After that, we cleaned up and Jonathan, Michael, Joseph and Amy ended up going home, but the rest of us waited because Bun, Elene, Max, and Joyce were coming to look at Lyn's bike! They finally arrived and we talked to them for a little bit before leaving since it was almost 3am =o='
Sunday - Kevin and I went to Lyn's house to finish cleaning up before going to Tea Station for tea and bumming at his house for a little while until it was time to go to my house for dinner. After dinner he stuck around until my Uncle Jon was finished helping my grandpa and then he took me back to school, where i've been since. 8D
and...hair!
