It was a day like any other…wasnt this how it always started it. “It was a day like any other…” Usually if you hear that you know something bad is going to happen. No? You don’t agree? Well in this case…your right. It wasn’t a day like any other, because any other day the group wouldn’t have been over Jun’s house, they would be out or at someone else’s place. But they weren’t…shocking isn’t it?

So it was NOT a day like any other. But it was a normal day. The gang was at Jun’s house figuring out how to spend they day they all had off together. This was a rarity. There was usually always one working. With nothing to do and no ideas they just sat there…and sat there…and sat there.

Nino sat, more like laid on Ohno, lost in his own little world. Ohno was drawing, like always when he had a free moment or an idea or just felt the need to. Sho was reading the news paper…but when wasn’t he? Aiba was…being Aiba. Something that no one really could understand. But in all actuality Aiba was reading a cell phone novel. And lastly Jun, he was on his laptop just seeing what was going on that day, weather…movie…you know, stuff.

The five of them were lost in their little worlds not paying much attention to the others that is until…

Aiba had gotten up from his chair leaving his phone behind mumbling something about bathroom.

He wasn’t gone for long. Just a few minutes.

Aiba was currently washing his hands when he heard a strange sound. He stopped and turned the water off looking around the room confused. It stopped; he resumed washing his hands.

HISSSSSSS

There it was again! Aiba looked all around. What could it be? A bug? The thought of it being a bug excited Aiba, but also scared him; it scared him because of what Jun’s reaction would be.

Trying to be quiet he dried his hands and moved to the door slowly. And just as he touched the knob it happened again. But it scared him now. “Ahhhh!” Aiba yelled. Causing the other to notice his absence. Aiba was freaking out in Jun’s neat and tidy bathroom. He wanted to know the cause of this mysterious sound. He was now making a racket. Jun and the gang were standing at the bathroom door. Risking it, Jun opened the door.

They blinked a few times, confused as to what it was that he was doing. Sho was the first to say something. “Masaki…what are you doing?” Aiba didn’t answer at first still going crazy, but the sound had long stopped.

“Masaki.” Sho said again. No response. He tried once more.

Nino gave it a go. “Aiba.” Nothing. “Aiba-chan!”

“Aiba!!” Jun finally yelled getting Aiba to stop mid movement. He turned his head slowly looking at Jun. “Heh….Jun. How’s it going?”

They all looked at him. “Aiba, what are you doing?” Nino asked. “Or should I say, were you doing.”

“Were seems about right,” Jun interjected, “Since he’s finished now.”

Aiba stood straight up. “You see the thing is, I was innocently in her washing my hands and then I heard something, so I turned the water off to find out what it was… I heard nothing. So I went back to washing my hands. Then I heard it again, this loud hissing sound. It was odd, I thought it was a bug so I went looking for it and -”

“You idiot!” Jun said exasperated. “That wasn’t a bug, it was a motion detecting air freshener.”

Nino was the first to start laughing soon followed by the others. “Really Aiba… cant you tell the difference?” They all laughed at him some more causing him to pout. “We’ll sorry for making a common mistake…” He said walking past them all and going back to his cell phone novel feeling extremely embarrassed.

Lesson of the day, if you hear a hissing sound, and your in Jun’s house. Its not a bug, but an air freshener.
