and I'm glad my perception doesn't come true. I almost sobbed when i read chapter 8, i was worried when i read that. I'm so afraid that Ohno will die after the competition

well, you're the first to say that. mitsu may not be the most nicest or the most lovable character here, but perhaps there are some traits of her that we can all somewhat relate to. having a hard time trusting others can be one.

ahaha! well i guess since the story is over, i'll spill the beans
in my original draft, i wrote out that ohno got infected with AIDS after one year nino left, but ohno didn't want to tell nino that he was sick. but sho already knows and right when ohno was on his death bed, sho told nino and nino flew back to japan. i stopped writing there, but i had planned for ohno to say the same lines to nino (he still loves nino as his precious student and whatnot) and then dies, but i thought that ending was too cruel XDD plus i thought it was very cliche and unnecessary
...
maybe i'll write and alternative ending later haha!

I really loved it, heartbreak and everything! I guess you are right, you can't choose who you fall for. But yeah, sometimes it does happen... I've been there and it hurt a little when it didn't work in the end. Maybe it would be better if we had remained just friends...

oh you can definitely choose who to fall for, it's whether if they will fall for you and appreciate you back. in ohno's case, he does love nino but not in the way nino hopes for it to be. but yes, it's very painful and hard to overcome. but some people are lucky to still be good friends after confessing. very few. nino happens to be one of them. he's got a lot of people who loves him :3
