The charity shirt for NTV's "24 Hour Television 36 Love Saves the World" airing on August 24th was unveiled on the 14th at Tokyo・Shiodome. This year's charity shirt has "love" as the subject, and it was a collaboration work with Ohno Satoshi of Arashi, who will serve as the main personality, and avant-garde artist Yayoi Kusama. Ohno converses, "It is finished in a never before seen kind of way. If anything, it is leaned towards art," and he proudly says, "I am satisfied in the workmanship."

He is in charge of the charity shirt design for 2 years in a row continuing from last year. He has also produced the design for the original t-shirt in 2004, making this his third and most number of times in history to be appointed for this role.
Within the busy schedule, the t-shirt was produced in about half a month's worth of time by giving each other their opinions. It appeared that they found common ground since the first day, even calling each other Oh-chan (Ohno) and Yayoi-chan (Kusama). By arranging polka dots (in which Kusama is an expert at) into a flower design, they expressed Japan's four seasons with spring as pink, summer as light blue, fall as yellow, and white as winter. For the back side of the t-shirt, the words "LOVE FOREVER" is printed on the heart. The product was completed with this year's theme of "love" packed tightly into the shirt.
Despite Ohno's comment, "I was really nervous at first" at the collaboration with a world-famous artist, he showed his gratitude by saying, "She was actually quite a sociable person, and it was easy to communicate with her because she was so nice." Kusama, who looked at Ohno's design at the beginning of the production raved, "Big artist. He has an amazing talent," and added, "We made it with our utmost effort. We want many people to wear the t-shirt filled with lots of LOVE."
The charity shirt is being sold starting on the 14th at Nittele-ya (Tokyo Station Store) and online shopping site, and starting on the 15th at Nittele-ya (Shiodome Store) and Aeon Group stores countrywide.
