<Ohno Satoshi>Designed the 24 Hour TV “Chari-T-Shirt” with Nara Yoshitomo-san Mantan Web 5/24 (Thursday) Delivered 6:00 AM
Ohno Satoshi-san of popular idol group “Arashi” designed the “Chari-T-Shirt” for the NTV charity program “24 Hour TV 35 Love Saves the World” with contemporary artist Nara Yoshitomo-san and unveiled it. Ohno-san, who appeared on the unveiling interview in Tokyo, Shiodome on the 23rd, showed his confidence and stated that he had the members of Arashi wear the chari-t-shirt before anyone else. “When I showed the members, they quickly reacted ‘Good!’. It seems like a shirt aimed for women, but there was no malaise even when the members wore it.”
For the chari-t-shirt, since this year's program's theme is "future", there is a face of a child with that word written in its eyes, and a bud sprouting from its head that represents "an image of creating towards the future" (Ohno). In the back, the word "future" is printed, which Ohno-san hand wrote with a brush. Nara-san commented about the design, "Instead of cramming this and that, I thought it would be better to hit with something simple and powerful."
Ohno-san, is good friends with Nara-san even in private. He conversed, "I felt relieved to hear that the collaboration was with Nara-san. Nara-san is someone who is many steps ahead, so I can go forward with reassurance as well." On the other hand, Nara-san raved about Ohno-san who conducts various creative activities such as releasing his artworks. "I was surprised that amidst his busy schedule, he penetrates his expression, rather than just doing it as a hobby. One of his biggest abilities is the way he penetrates into his works, I think. He has lots of imagery, so I pondered that he would improve a lot more if he learns different things. (Mainichi Shinbun Digital)
