ok heres the proof that i suck
alright...this took me all damn night to throw together...so i wont post anything new until i either recover or get 50 responses (spamming me won't count), so here it goes...i decided to do a tribute to my righteous re-instatement of my world pass to the player vs. player server today...so the kitty chick with the scythe will strike again! !wOOt DING! anyhow...this is how i do it anyway...
this first one is the pencil layout for the project...as you can see i don't use the marker or 1/2 by 1/2 system...i have done that so damn long i don't need it...but of course its a bit rough...but this is what it all looks like before ink.
this cut is the first layer of ink...before the fills...notice i leave the pencil on...i do this in case i want to use more detail during the filling process.
now this cut is fully filled and detailed and ready for screentones (i don't use pussy ass tone sheets...i do it by hand with a bic black ink pen) or color.
which leads us to my favorite color and backgrounding...here i use an assortment of different mediums...red ink...crayola colored pencils...and paint shop pro. the choosing of a background is difficult...it must align with the field of prespective of your pic...but anyhow...3 hours of work makes this :
