VS Arashi #61 [09.06.20] Summary

Jun 22, 2009 00:15

-At the talk in the beginning, they comment on how cute Ohno's outfit is. The audience agrees. Sho asks Ohno how old he's going to be this year, and he says 29. Jun says that to middle and high schoolers, Ohno is an old man. XD There were some kids in the audience that Sho pointed out. Awww~ They also mentioned Nino's birthday, of course.
-Before introducing the guest, Sho said that the guest is Jun's rival. (Jun seems to have a lot of rivals...lol) Nino wondered if Jun really thought that way. Jun said he really didn't care, haha. Although I think that's a lie because once they came out, Jun started harrassing Himura (of Bananaman) pretty much right away.
-After Himura finished Pinball Runner, Takeyama was like, what the crap! What were you doing at the end?! (When he started missing all the balls, I guess.) Himura was like, Don't you get it? I'm an old man, my legs... Jun was like, "Awww, that's too bad," while smirking and tossing around the pink ball. Himura was like, "Arashi, you try it!" Sho was like, "Uh, we're going to. Right now." Himura was like, "You are??!"
-Sho told Ohno to run to 5 as soon as the game started. Sho then asked (I think) what their strategy should be from there, and Ohno said he would leave it to Sho. I didn't get what Sho said after that but Nino and Aiba were like, what the?! This isn't the news, it's VS Arashi. Aren't you motivated at all? Sho then started talking like a newscaster. It looked like it took Ohno a bit to process what Sho was saying, haha.
-After the game, Nino gave Sho a hard time about some of the stuff he said during the game. Like, at one point, Sho told Ohno to rest, and another time he said something like "At that point..." Nino was like, what was that supposed to mean??
-When Jun was doing pipe choice for Himura during Falling Pipe, Jun said that he'd choose 1 and 2. Himura asked, "It's going to be these ones, right?" Jun replied, "Of course. Trust me. ♥" Himura was like, "Wait, hold on. I couldn't hear you." Jun repeated again to trust him. A little later, after Jun chose the pipes (3 and 4, of course), Himura was getting himself situated, and said he was going to go for 1 and 2. Aiba was like, "That's not 1 and 2!" because he was reaching behind himself for 3 and 4. Jun was like, "You don't trust me." Himura replied, "I do. I'm going for 1 and 2." Jun was like, "No you don't!" Himura demonstrated how he would reach for 1 and 2...which pretty much failed. During the actual game, Jun mentioned that Himura knew how to tap dance and asked him to do it before dropping the pipes. In the end, he managed a double catch (obviously he was wise not to trust MatsuJun), but he didn't get enough points, and so Arashi won. Then Jun asked Himura to demonstrate his tap dance, which he did...which had an awkward sort of reaction. Himura said it was because he wasn't wearing tap shoes, so the sound wasn't right.
-I couldn't catch enough of the talk at the end to make much sense of it. Sorry. :/

Jun was so DoS in this episode. He was clearly enjoying himself way too much. Most of his epic battles with Himura don't need translations. XD
