Hobbies: writing, editing (writing & video), learning Japanese, making collages *is aware of lame scale*, DDR, repeating everything inside my head in katakana
Likes/Dislikes: Likes: cinematography, Miike Takashi, film, Sailor Moon, daydreams. Dislikes: closets, discrimination, porcelain dolls, the dark, half jokes whole truths.
Favorite movie, song, and food: Movie: A three way tie between Ao no Hono'o, Hard Candy & The Breakfast Club. Song: Right now it'd have to be VNV Nation's Illusion, but it changes frequently. Food: Barbequed chicken or noodles.
Something that makes you stand out: My sense of realism. I'm not a tainted youth or anything, I just learned from my mistakes earlier than my peers and so I see things differently.
Something weird about you: In junior high, if my assignments got wrinkled/folded/marked on, I would take them home and pass in a different copy the next day, accepting the deduction for missing the due date.
Special talent(if any): I have a knack for remembering strange and obscure facts that no one truly cares about. Did you know that Claire Danes was first offered the role of Rose in Titanic but turned it down because she had just done Romeo & Juliet with Leonardo DiCaprio the previous year and didn't want to be typecasted as his lover? Like I said, no one cares.
Strong points + Weaknesses: Strong Points: I'm not afraid to be selfish in search of self preservation. Weaknesses: I try and help those around me, even when it drags me down with them.
Leader or follower? Funny thing. I appear to follow, in order to avoid dramarama, but I never compromise myself for anyone.
Favorite Arashi member and why: Having to choose... I still wouldn't be able to pick between Aiba and Sho. Aiba is such a sweet, natural person. When he laughs, he laughs honestly, and will never cover up his true emotions. Sho is full of fail, but embraces it. He's booksmart and knows when and where to unleash his bakawaii side, as Nino said in his 24 Hour TV letter. That being said, he can only make it come out... he can never hold it in.
If you could be an Arashi member for a day, which would you be? Going through all the members in my head, I'd have to say Ohno. He's always so relaxed and calm, like he hasn't a care in the world. Even though he's an idol, he doesn't have a big ego at all, and doesn't mind sharing his faults/weaknesses with the world... ie: When he told everyone how the company got mad at him for having no self-awareness (another charming characteristic, by the way). I'd just like to be that easy-going and free sometimes.
If you were an animal, what animal would you be, and why? Not to go all philosophical, but humans are, underneath the fancy ties and fake smiles, simply animals. The other animals just don't bother to deny what they are.
