Title: Blood Candy
Series: Oneshot?
Pairing: implied chibi Ohmiya
Summary: Jun likes lollipops but Nino thinks they're too girly.
Notes: This was the first Chibi story I ever wrote. Inspired by Jun's memory of getting hit by a car when he was younger. XD I like torturing Jun. I classified it as a Oneshot although I still plan to continue it. Because I like torturing Nino.
Little Jun stared in excitement at all the candy glistening in their sweetness under the shiny glass counter. His lips curled into a smile and a small twinkle grew in his eyes. His pocket jingled merrily as he walked over to the candy lady for a lollipop. Jun loved lollipops. It didn’t matter that Ninomiya-kun from school told him that lollipops were for girls. He was stupid anyway.
The smiling candy lady placed his favorite lollipop in his fingers. He took off the flimsy clear plastic and licked the candy tentatively. His face broke into a grin and he skipped over to where Ninomiya-kun and Ohno-kun were sharing a milkshake, his pockets quiet.
Little Ohno-kun smiled and pointed a pudgy little finger at Jun’s swirly lollipop, “I like the swirly colors!”
Jun beamed at him. Ninomiya-kun sipped up the last morsels of milkshake loudly and turned his attention to the girly lollipop in Jun’s fingers, “Ne! Matsumoto-kun is so girly! Lollipops are for girls!”
Little Nino snatched the purple swirl lollipop from Jun and held it high above his head, teasingly. It was fun being tall for his age, even if his sister told him it wouldn’t last that long.
“Give it BACK!” Jun jumped high for his candy, his eyes brimming with tears. Stupid Ninomiya-kun. Ninomiya-kun was mean! He hated him.
Finally in one last extra burst of energy, Jun managed to grab the business end of his lollipop. The lollipop fell to the floor and broke into dirty shards of colorful sweetness. Jun’s fingers felt disgustingly sticky. His lip trembled and the tears that clung to his eyes slid across his cheeks.
Ninomiya-kun looked guiltily at the shattered lollipop. “Ne… M-matsumoto-kun… G…G-gomen NASAI…”
Jun threw him a hurt look, “I hate you!”
Jun turned and ran out the door, wanting to go to his home across the street, to wash his hands of the sticky remembrance of his broken lollipop and Nino’s meanness. He ran into the open traffic of the street, ignoring his parents’ teachings of looking both ways. The loud rumbling of the oncoming truck failed to reach his ears.
Little Nino ran after Jun and saw with wide frightened eyes as a gleaming white truck hit Jun. The sickening crunch of bones and impact made his little stomach cold.
“MATSUMOTO!!!!”
