This is the FAQ compiled for Fundraising for Japan--Fandom-style. The following are some of the most common questions we have come across over the past few days since starting this fundraiser, and I sincerely hope this will be of help to some, if not many of you!

I'm not sure where we can suggest to donate the money, but I was thinking it would be nice if we could donate to Save the Children (or similar organization that helps kids specifically) and a charity that can help animals, in addition to the Red Cross. At least that way a couple more specific areas in need will be covered? ^^

Great! Will put that under a list of possible charities for the community to take a vote later on.

Is there any particular animal charity organization you want to donate to? Because if there isn't, I'm just going to pick one that seems the most legit and covers the most basis. ^^

I have not seen a specific animal charity, so if you can find a good one that would be wonderful~ :D

There are a couple that are actually working in Japan right now.

Animal Refuge Kansai

Japan Earthquake Animal Rescue and Support
This is a coalition of 3 groups made up of HEART-Tokushima, Animal Garden Niigata and Japan Cat Network.

Japan Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals

Japan Animal Welfare Society

World Vets

If, for example, I would like to open comissions for Arashi portraits that I would scan or send if you donate, what can I do?
