SMAP hasn't released anything yet this year. Not even one single or album. SMAP is on the list only because of the DVD they released in mid December. Just that one is enough to put them in the top 10. And whenever they release an album, a single, or a DVD, SMAP releases only one version with no LE or Special editions. Their sales are from selling just one version of everything.

I love Arashi almost as much as I love SMAP but we have to put things in perspective here. We can celebrate Arashi's success without saying things like this.

Yes. that's what I like about smap. they are the only Johnny group to release only one version of their single so the sales is not inflated and I don't have to spend too many $$$$. I want Arashi to reach that status one day though but I have to admit they're not there yet. Someday they will.

i think it's referring to earning per person.. since Ayu is solo, hence it's the same result with the 2 rankings..try to compare with the other ones as well..still, im not so sure about it..^_^
