OMFG!!!!! I read pirates in the summary and now I'm super excited about thissss!!!! :D (may I add that I've wanted a pirate AU for a while???) Will read later :'D
Okay, I am back :D I enjoyed reading this fic very much! Sho being a navy captain and Matsujun being the man who decided to become a pirate because he wanted more than what society could offer him was great! :D I loved that even until the end Sho refused to be a pirate. That's just like him :) Nino and Aiba's reactions to what happened with their crew are SO them! (and yes, I also think someone like Nino would definitely fit in a pirate crew xD) “You do have a cute nose.” Loved when Ohno said that hahahahahaha! The part about Sho oiling the mast was one of my favorite moments in this fic hahahahahahha! Thank you for including Sho's fear of heights :D :D :D I kept wondering if Sho would run away D: I'm so glad that he really gave it some thought before agreeing to anything :D I liked reading the process, and how he changed his mind about Jun and his crew ^^ The smut at the end :D :D :D (also Nino realizing that Sho was inside the room with Jun, LOL!!!!!!!) Author-san, thank you ^^ I will definitely be re-reading this in the future, it was fun. AND IT HAD PIRATES! :'D (which, you're right I did not mention, but I like very much :3)
Sorry to have been so slow to answer, but I am here now :D
I am so incredibly relieved that you liked this fic, it was a bit of a long shot, since I had no idea how you felt about a pirate AU. I tried to go for a different angle on the whole pirate idea; instead of having Jun and Sho being rival pirates, I wanted a deep story with the conflict of their different worlds and way of life. So I am happy that you seemed to like the idea of Sho's morals vs. what he wants. Since this is Sho and Jun, I wanted to stay true to their characters, so knowing that you felt like I did is a great compliment, thank you ^^
I tried to include some of the small details of your initial request, including Sho's fear of heights, a deep conversation underneath the starry sky etc., trying my best to make it fit in.
For me, I want the NC-17 parts to be really good, so I am constantly trying to approve. I am glad you liked it. Though I could not resist the temptation of having snarky Nino disturb them. I love Nino, really.
As mentioned, I do believe I will make a sequel for this, sometime in the future. There are a lot of undisclosed issues and some history, which is so far only in my head - I want it on paper too :DD
Thank you for commenting on the fic so fast too, it made me really happy ^^
