[MOD] Fundraising for Japan

As many of you may know already, Japan was rocked by a massive 8.9 magnitude (some accounts claim 8.8 or 9.0) earthquake and tsunami, and will continue to suffer from aftershocks and further tsunami dangers even as they work hard to evacuate, rescue and eventually begin to rebuild. Hundreds are already reported to be dead, with still more missing

When you made monetary donations to Red Cross, you can dedicate your donations in honor of someone by entering the honoree's name in the Honor/Memorial Donation section. If you want, you can enter 'Arashi Japan' or someone you want to honor or remember.

I can't remember if that feature was available last time (the donations went directly to a Haiti earthquake fund Red Cross had set up), but I'll be sure to keep that in mind this time, thank you!

Oh no, it's not until the end of March; that's just a type of benchmark or checkpoint to work towards. It will be an ongoing effort, I think lasting through at least April. Many are busy and may not be able to contribute at this time since it's midterms/finals season for students, and I don't think there should be a deadline for what is essentially a collaborative effort for a good cause. You're free to take your time, definitely!
