OMFG!
It's only been a few minutes since I sent in that last post to LJ below. Mark has just walked in the door and has told us some good news and bad news!
The bad news is, Mark has been promoted. You'd think this would be good but it is not because he was promoted to full time truck hours! He's been transferred from the Video department in Best Buy, to the Merchant department. How incredibly insane is that?! I think they are singling him out for his size, thinking he has the bulk to lift the heavy stuff, but Mark denies that theory almost entirely. I don't know. People can be mean.
Okay, now for the good news, the hours are no less than twenty a week when until now he had been being given a maximum of eight hours a week. So, even though the promotion was more of a demotion, or a side-ways transfer, he says he can endure the stress if only to get rid of the stress over the rent payments.
I worry for him though. And for myself! You know how many arguments we have when he's fuckin cranky and ornery?! Dude, the number of arguments is gonna tip the scale now that he's going to be working truck every day in the MORNING!! He hates morning work schedules but that's when the Merchant department people work!
