Distraught! Deprived!
As Melly-sama would say...
FREEDOM!!!
After the Indianapolis Ordeal (which I might write about later if I ever feel like it), for about a week we've had no internet. We moved to new apartment and the cable modem that we were given was faulty so Mark and Ulric just bought one themselves and it still didn't work. We were told last Thursday that we wouldn't get someone over to our house til Tuesday! We were distraught! We were deprived! I don't know how many times I attempted to look up something on Google...
But it is now Tuesday! We have internet! And what am I doing now that we have internet?
Playing single player Dungeon Siege of course. ;)
For a quick recap of the past few days:
I had an attack again right before work on Thursday and so Mark called me in sick. My manager Mike is usually a prick to me but this time he was genuinely concerned. I am ashamed to have been calling him an asshole, even though he can be, he is actually in the same boat I am. He takes happy pills too.
Friday I got to work fine, albeit one more minute and I would have been late. But those kinds of punch-ins are exhilerating none-the-less.
Saturday I had a fever. I wish I had known my temperature. It doesn't help to be anemic during your period while fighting a fuckin fever. I was dead that day. I couldn't even walk or stand or chew food barely. And then Sunday I still had fleeting fever symptoms but it was so weird how the next day could have me bouncing and being giddy.
Monday I went to work in the morning for a little bit (I'm not supposed to be scheduled Mondays). the bank, and then Mark and I went to Eyeglass World to pick up his new prescription sunglasses. I had a counseling session and afterward we went to TRU and I got Rainbow Dash! TRU has a pony sale btw! All the single ponies are $1 off until August! Like they weren't cheap enough already! :) We got home and I decided to check the other TRU nearer to us and they didn't have Minty or Sparkleworks either so I totally splurged my paycheck and got the Celebration Castle instead!! It's all set up in the livingroom on the white shelving unit and it looks absolutely gorgeous. Took me through almost the entire movie of Spiderman to put the stickers on and I still had to put it together after that. o_O
But it was worth it! I wish I had a digital camera! I am only missing Razaroo, Moondancer, Minty and Sparkleworks!!
