Today I have been more productive than usual. I cleaned up my bike and did 3 1/2 hours' work. I was aiming for six, but hey, it's better than I have been doing. I started to comprehend just how complicated this dissertation is going to be. I deleted 500 of my 1700 emails. Er... oh dear. If that's productive, I'm lazy. To prove it, here's a quiz.
1. IF YOU COULD BUILD A HOUSE ANYWHERE-WHERE WOULD IT BE? Cambridge, for now. And another one somewhere with beautiful rugged scenery, like Snowdonia, or the Lakes (where I’ve never been). And maybe one in Greece, too. And all the other exciting places which I haven’t yet discovered but will.
2. WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE ARTICLE OF CLOTHING? Currently my Cambridge hoodie. Excellent for slumping in. I’m not in an elegant mood this holiday.

6. WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE PLACE TO BE MASSAGED? Ooo, massage… I'm not picky.
7. WHAT'S MOST IMPORTANT, STRONG IN MIND OR STRONG IN BODY? Depends whether you’re facing year 3 of the history tripos combined with life’s general confusingness, or a gruelling 5week march through the Thai jungle whilst being chased by angry guerrillas. But you’d probably need BOTH for the latter.
8. WHAT TIME DO YOU WAKE UP IN THE MORNING? between 5am and …not in the morning.
9. WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE KITCHEN APPLIANCE? Er? hm. Toastie makers are good, but fattening.
10. WHAT MAKES YOU REALLY ANGRY? True apathy/selfishness.
11. IF YOU COULD PLAY ANY INSTRUMENT WHAT WOULD IT BE? Piano’s good and I’m learning the guitar… would like to be a little further along the way with that one.
12. FAVOURITE COLOURS? Turquoise, especially combined with purple.
13. WHICH DO YOU PREFER, SPORTS CAR OR SUV? Neither, I love my bicycle. Spent 2 hours today removing the rust from it.
14. DO YOU BELIEVE IN AN AFTERLIFE? Define, define, as always. Probably not in the sense of me still being a conscious individual.
15. FAVOURITE CHILDREN'S BOOK? Elmer the Elephant.
16. WHAT'S YOUR LEAST FAVOURITE HOUSEHOLD CHORE? Ironing, or hanging up the laundry.
