We're doing research reports, and upon asking students why they needed a works cited/bibliography page, one student in particular was very confident in his answer. The short, towhead, generally-makes-up-for-his-size-with-his-voice student that raised and waved his hand to answer the question replied cheerfully: "So we don't get caught in polygamy!" The other student teacher and I started laughing so hard and saying "you mean plagiarism?", as the student backpedaled with, "I meant plagiarism! Really!!"
