In commemoration of my student teaching with the 7th/8th graders ending on Thursday, I decided to count down the 5 most memorable experiences I've had with them. These are either WTH or *headdesk* moments, but one or two might be heartwarming. So, without further ado, here's #5:
A few days ago, I asked the students if anyone knew what Euthanasia was. A girl in the back blurted out, "Is that a country?" Urk. Geography lesson much? We ended up having a good discussion after I clarified what it was.
