I have just received a parcel containing excusively fish recipes from my mother. This is following my discovery of a good fresh fish stall in the new bit of the Arndale Centre in central Manchester.
Fish is extremely healthy, not particularly expensive if you're willing to find alternatives to salmon, and, I'm assured, very versatile. Now, are my flatmates going to kick me out for creating such an awful smell in the kitchen, or, do fish only smell bad if they're old/cooked badly? How do I avoid making the whole place smell of fish?
