As I was walking to work this morning, through the pouring rain and rather late because I overslept and had to put out the recycling, the following popped, unbidden, into my head. And since it has been stuck there ever since and I want to annoy the rest of you share the uplifting sentiment and Pottermania, here it is:

I'm getting mine in the mail, on a weekend when I need to write thesis hardcore. I may pull an all-nighter on HP, or I may try to wait while avoiding the internet completely (I wanted to re-read the other books first, but I don't think that's on at all). Are you getting a copy tomorrow?

OMG OMG IT'S HERE! It came this morning by special delivery - the front desk that normally does parcels is closed at the weekend, so the poor man was phoning each person in our rez individually to get them to come down.

Remus'd better not die - I should be most displeased if he did. I'd say ditto Snape, but what are the chances? :(
