A Freezing Field Trip
Burrrr! It's cold. Cold! We must be in the 30's or something (Fahrenheit). It's windy, too. Looks like we might have the last big freeze of the spging. And in this weather, my evening class had an outdoor field trip. Most of us were severely underequipped, so the professor very generously shortened the field trip to only one hour, and let the class out early. I would have liked to learn more, but it was simply too cold -- so cold that my body was getting numb, my muscles ached, and I started to walk funny. After the field trip was over, it took me half an hour to "thaw out." I hope I don't catch a cold from this.
