A Long (And Good) Sunday

Today, I finally finished organizing the books in the church library. I feel so good. And I could tell that some of the books (which I've worked on last week) were already out of place. Well, the messier it gets, the more kids must be reading them, right? I hope my dad will keep the library in good condition after I'm gone.

And since this is the last Sunday I'll be going to my parents' church (at least for couple of years), I said good-bye to my new friends. One of them decided she wanted to buy me lunch, then somehow that progressed from 4-person supper to 10-person supper, then it got too late to be lunch; so we just waited another hour and made it a dinner. And since the whole thing became not-so-private, my friend decided that she must give a book as a parting gift. I think it's a devotional book, and I think I'll like it. It's about keeping Faith. Dinner was yummy, it really was, even though it was slightly on the spicy side. After supper, some of us drove down to a lake-park and took a walk. (Or rather, the the others sat on a bench and chat while I walked back and forth on the walking path.)

So, it was a long day, but it wasn't stressful. Really, it was good. And I'm glad that some people got to honestly like me during my short visit here.

Tomorrow mom and I are doing some last-minute shopping, although I've already forgotten why we were planning to go there in the first place. Curious thing, this short-term memory.
