Anyway, sitting in a wondrously dull meeting this morning about server migration and system testing (*yawn*) we got to the part about the new problem reporting system.
Y'all are never going to believe this one.
There are two parts to the system, apparently. The first is where you go in to submit problems to the system. So technically, you are adding problems to the system. The name of this component is "Peregrin"
The second part is the problem manager. You can go it and check the status of a reported problem and see when it is fixed. So it is keeping an eye out for all the problems entered or "created" by Peregrin, and helping to aid managers and developers in their solutions. This component is called "iStar"
Yes, they are pronouncing it "eye star" but please, we all know it is Istar.
I had myself a nice little laugh. What the heck, right? They already think I'm weird...
