"the universe is resting in my arms"
Monday: Got grounded, got ungrounded and was able to go bowling and say bye to Peter. I tried to feel sad but I couldn't really. When I'm around him I can only feel peace. Even when we talk about not peaceful things, even when we have to say goodbye. I think that's a big indicator of a friendship that's blessed by God. It's like I'm not just happy for him because he's getting to start his calling and his career, but I'm happy for him in the Spirit. And that's different. And that's why I'm not sad. Although...it would help if he weren't so cute.
Tuesday: Skipped kickboxing and went to the Tigers game with my sister, Jeff L. and Jeff E. What a fabulous time!!!! I laugh so hard with those guys. I really miss Jeff L. He was like a brother to me in high school. I need to make a bigger effort to hang out with him. Anyway, it was beautiful weather, and I ate a hot dog, and it went to ten innings, and Jeff told the guys from Minnesota that we have better lakes and it was hilarious. Haha, what an awful sentence that was.
Wednesday: Surprised by my mom making an effort with me. Work is getting tiresome. Had a nice long chat with Chessie and I can't wait till she comes home! She's so spirited and has such moxie. Spent the evening with my mom and all her pharmacy school friends at their book club meeting. I am an old lady, and I ENJOY being an old lady. So now it's time for bed. Goodnight.
