In honor of the 4th of July, I just watched an Italian film called "Respiro." I couldn't understand a word of it because it took place in Lampadusa. But it had it's shining moments.
Last night I saw the best fireworks in the history of my firework watching career. We went to Greenfield Village to see them.
Today at work an old man who looked like he could barely walk came by the desk on his way to visit someone. He smiled and tipped is hat. I've never had someone actually seriously tip his hat to me. But that's the Greatest Generation for ya. I don't know why, but it just made an impression on me.
