Writer's Block: Chatty

Ideally, I prefer talking on the phone. It gets things done a lot faster, as you don't have to wait a few minute to get responses. I have lately seen the benefits of texting, though. I used to hate it, because of that dumb text speak, and.. I don't know, I guess I thought it was impersonal, or something. But now that I'm actually doing it, it's fine.

Plus, I've realized that I really don't like talking. Especially on cell phones, where the reception sucks and I only hear half of every word. Or whenever I ever talk to my mom, who constantly complains about not being able to hear me. But if I'm in a good mood and on a land line I'm set.

Maybe I could do an article about texting vs. phone calls on that website, Jen. If I ever get over my avoiding it.

So. I finally finished unit 9 of my english class last night. I now only have two units left in the class, with due dates in June. I would normally finish them tonight, but... Unit 15 is a big comparative essay between two myths, and Unit 16 is (DUN DUN DUN) a REVISION of that paper.

All I can say is that I'm glad I have a different teacher this semester. I don't know why I do, but I do. And it's a good thing because last time I had a revision assignment I never got the corrections for my paper. I asked her multiple times to give me them, but she just said "They're coming." or "I'm busy with over a hundred other student's assignments." If she had just sent them out when she graded the thing, it would've been done right then. In the end, she just told me to submit the same paper twice. I got a worse grade than the first time, but I didn't think to have anyone else edit it until right after I'd submitted it. Hopefully I wont need to do that this semester.
