HP Drabble the Second.

I think I'm going to try the HP drabbles today.

Snape sits at the staff table, watching the sea of young, excited faces with a mild disgust. He had never seen the point of this idiotic event while a student and now, as a staff member he saw only marginally more benefit. He had had the misfortune of being assigned "Weasely duty" which entailed keeping the terrible two from doing excessive damage to the castle and creating problems.
He watches with amusement as Professor Trelawny picks up one of Flitwick's "Trick'or Treats" and squeals as her rather eccentric outfit is replaced by an elaborate (and exceedingly frilly and spangled) ball gown. The diminutive professor offers the plate of innocous fairy cakes to Snape with a twinkle in his eye.
The Potions Master waves it away with a thin smile of his own. "No thank you." His eyes trail to Trelawny who is sobbing about bad omens from a past life. "It's a bit too ...frilly for me, actually."
