He never comes in when other people are there and Omi's learnt to live with that. There aren't that many people who he wants to have visit anyway. Most never will.
Does Nagi still work with Schwartz? He wonders as he lies in the big bed waiting and hoping that Nagi will come that night but he never asks.
There's a lot he never asks, afraid the questions will drive Nagi away for ever. But in these long, dark hours, the thoughts run endless circles in his mind. He sighs and buries his head in the pillow.
