This is absolutly wonderful and I love it!

I can picture everything, the little details just giving this fic so much more.

In a way I love how at the end, nothing is truly resolved, because that just seems so realistic and tangiable to me.

Brilliant work ♥

oh, this is so beautiful. it's so clear in every paragraph how much they love each other, even though they're fighting and making each other miserable at the moment, and you got their respective fighting styles just right - Roger being pissy and snappish and Rafa being a passive-aggressive little bitch. I love that it isn't easy and they aren't sure they can make it work. and I love the puppy! awwww.

:DDD Sad but true, I think the puppy is my favourite OC I've ever written.

Oh, that was so cute and sad and lovely. I was scared when you posted the other day that you were going to leave us for bigger shinier fandoms. . .

I can totally imagine that this is what a lot of athlethes' lives are like, after they retire - sunshine and a beautiful house and plenty of money and just them and their partner, with all the travel and complicated logistics and time pressures gone, and a sudden terrifying sense of "what next?". It really felt real. I could even see R&R turning into one of those couples who can't communicate with each other any more and don't have enough to talk about, so they accumulate dogs and treat them like children. . .

Awesome.

I may dabble in other fandoms, but tennis will always be my first love :)

Yeah, I think that after such an incredibly busy lifestyle, the quietness of being in one place with one person for a long time would be really hard to adjust to. I'm glad this rang true for you ♥
