Today was more relaxed than the previous two days. We started things off with tours of the Tower Bridge and Westminster Abbey.

Before our scheduled musical for the evening, Porter showed me one of his favourite restaurants, Cafe In The Crypt. As mentioned in Porter's blog, it is an actual crypt. The atmosphere was pretty cool but the food didn't sit well with me. We missed out on the main course so we settled for mushroom soup and a dessert, apple crumble pie with custard for me. I must say that I did not like the food.

After dinner we passed the time by walking through Soho, a neighborhood full of pubs and strip clubs, As we walked by one  such establishment, an elderly woman at the front desk motioned us over with "boys, in here please." We did not take her up on it.

When it was finally half-six, we entered the theater to watch Les Miserables. I realized when we sat down that you can drink during the show. The couple to my right was drinking wine. During the first act I did doze off at times while Porter seemed to be coughing both his lungs out. During that act, I saw Porter check the time and shift in his seat. So, I mistakenly thought that he was a little bored like me. I was wrong. I did remain awake for all of the second act though.

The show was good. In my defense, the jet lag played a role in my dozing off. However, I must admit that I'm more of a fan of musicals when the songs are funny. I realized that in NYC. Despite this, I'm very glad we saw the musical.

After a beer at Ronny's, we headed off to sleep knowing that Paris was next!

London Impressions: London was a great way to start our European adventure. While there, I fell in love with the British accent and the women. There were pretty British girls everywhere and they were all very well dressed. London itself has a lot to offer and the sample I got was well worth it. Cheers!
