Yea for me being awesome. :) My teachers both just gave me back my tests I just took, and I got A's on both. I am so happy! My evil Modernist lit test (with the crazy spot passages and multiple choice answers where any, all, or none of the choices could be correct and you have to defend your answers) came back with a 91%! Considering that in the last class I took from this teacher I never got any higher than an 87% on those tests, I am extremely pleased. And on my Shakespeare test, despite the teacher's protestations about the difficulty of the test (scaring me to death, so that I felt any studying would be useless, and therefore didn't study *grin*) I got a 98%. *big grin* So happy! That means that for my next research paper proposal (for which I fail to have an idea yet) I really don't need to stress about doing well. Happiness!
I really didn't do a whole lot for Halloween; I watched "Mythbusters" with my brother. Grrr on work that refuses to let employees dress up. I even had a fun (if not very creative) idea. My friend made me this totally awesome full length cloak (you know, the fairy tale type, wonderfully sweet) so I would have worn that over my blue formal dress, for the whole "princess on a quest" thing, or "princess running away from something ugly" effect. (If you know where that "something ugly" quote comes from, you win the prize) Not original, but totally fun...
Someone on the BroadwayWorld message board mentioned how he wished that there facebook application for broadway; like you put Playbills of shows you've seen, or want to see, or whatever on your profile. Which I think is a great idea--haven't a clue how to make an application, but if I did, that would be the one I'd make! So this would be a hint to anyone who knows how to make one. :)
I suppose I should start paying attention to class now--we are discussing C.S. Lewis and The Screwtape Letters, another book I highly recommend. :) Along with Wuthering Heights, Virgina Woolf's "A Room of One's Own," and Isaac Asimov's "Black Widowers" stories. Enjoy! :)
