Sense & Sensibility

Well, that was 3 hours well-spent.  I've been on a Sense & Sensibility kick recently, so the new adaptation came at a perfect time.  And I really enjoyed it!  I was actually surprised at how much I enjoyed it....

Anyways, Elinor was amazing.  I really liked her, although was it just me or did she sound very like Emma Thompson?  That kind of threw me ( Read more... )

I'm glad you like it!

I've heard a lot of people say that this Elinor sounds like Emma Thompson, so you are not the only one who thinks so. (I haven't seen heard her that much, and I've only seen her S&S 1 and 1/2 times.)

Edward, ah Edward. *sighs*

I think I'm STILL the only person who likes this Willoughby.

To be able to stand and stare into the sea like the girls are constantly doing? Dude, sign me up!

LOL! Me too!

I don't think Martin Phipps is getting the respect he deserves from people in positions of authority. (Such as those who decide if a soundtrack get released or not.)

S&S was released by different people than Northanger Abbey was, so no scenes are missing. Thankfully.

And Fanny's little boy? Priceless, just for the visual humor!

Oh. My. 'Nuff said.

I really really didn't like this Willoughby--not cute enough, not suave enough, just annoying. I was so glad when he finally left; I liked this Marianne too much to leave her to this Willoughby. And yes--Edward=*sighs*

What, you didn't like Fanny's little boy? :P

:D I cracked up every time I saw him, partly because of some picspam comments made here.

Hilarious! Glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks the little boy is hilariously funny. :) And this comment
Edward brooding for no reason BUT WE ALL KNOW WHY ALREADY B/C WE SAW S&S '95 pretty much sums it all up. Thanks for sharing! :)
