Japanese Cat Costumes: The New Cat’s Meow

One can only wonder how cats feel when their owners (if that could ever be anyway) dress them up in kimonos, Napoleon hats, tiaras and black lace! Those costumes created and sold by Tokyo’s Takako Iwasa are quite hysterical, but really folks, what is going on here anyway?

But, then I met my cat, Prin, and suddenly thought, ‘I want to dress her up!’

This is going to be me in 30 years! XD

MTE.

It's nice to see people already working on how to make my crazy cat lady future even weirder - thanks Japan.

I remember my Mum asking me what my ambition was in life, and she just looked at me when I said I was going to be a crazy cat lady XD

Well, I used to dress my cat up when I was little, so I'm just gonna revert back to my childhood ;-)

I told my mum that if nothing else works out I'm gonna be a crazy cat lady and/or singing nun - like being in the Sound of Music, just without so many children and war-related episodes. She didn't look amused - apparently she doesn't appreciate my pessimistic planning xD

I never had a pet (with legs - goldfish don't count) so I had to give all my dressing up attentions to my teddy bears - that's good enough practice, right?
