This will be the 8th time Eita and Juri have co-starred in a movie or drama. The birth of "Heisei's Golden Couple."

It was announced on the 22nd that actor Eita (27) and actress Ueno Juri (24) will both be starring in Fuji TV's drama "Sunao ni Narenakute" [I can't be become honest] (Thursdays 10PM) starting in April. It is a drama that depicts a fresh story of youth about 5 men and women who came to know each other through the internet communication tool, Twitter. As this is their eighth time co-starring together in a drama or movie, Eita's and Ueno's fighting spirit is more than sufficient. With their bond of an old friendship, they vowed a "passionate performance."

Since Fuji TV's popular drama "Last Friends" that aired in April the year before last, it has been 2 years since Eita and Ueno have acted together. With themes such as domestic violence and gender identity crisis, the highest ratings achieved was 22.8%. With a complete turnaround, this "Golden Combo" are taking on the challenge of a life-sized drama of lively youth in "Sunao ni."

In the drama, set in the young people's town of Shibuya, the 5 men and women who meet through Twitter overcome various problems in a positive manner, turning into a true friendship.

Twitter is a tool where users and exchange "tweets" with each other under 140 characters. Foreign celebrities also participate and it is being called a worldwide boom.

Also having worked on "Last Friends," producer Nakano Toshiyuki has enthusiastically stated, "I wanted to make a drama of youth with a new sense. With these actors who can act well, I'm aiming for a high quality drama that can tear down generation barriers!!"

Eita plays Nakaji, a young man starting out as a photographer, who had looked up to his father who had been a wartime battlefield photographer, and thus wanted to go into the same profession, but also worries for his father as the injury he received on the battlefield has changed him. Meanwhile, Ueno plays Haru, irritated with her own experience, gets hired as an emergency teacher at a private high school. She develops a one-sided love with the "chara-o" Nakaji, who starts to have a special existence...

The 8 time co-star of Ueno, Eita, said "Being paired with the actress I've worked with the most times is promising. Because we have a relationship where we can rely on each other, I want to give it my all. Ueno also said, "It's always fun working with Eita. I'm happy to be put together with him again."

Since 2002's "One Hundred Million Falling Stars from the Sky," it has been 8 years since screenwriter Kitagawa Eriko (48) has written for Fuji TV. "With this season's actors, she can turn out poetic lines that can cause wonderful chemical reactions," said Nakano, gathering up anticipation.

Eita has been awarded with Blue Ribbon's best supporting actor prize and Ueno has been picked as the lead for next year's NHK taiga drama, "Gou." We now look forward to a passionate performance from this young group full of merit.

Tamayama plays Rinda (or Linda?), the leader like member of the group who works at a showy publication while struggling with ED (erectile disfunction). Seki plays Haru's close friend, Peach, who continues an affair with her boss. They are still in the casting process for the remaining cast member.
