In the words of the creator the point of this community is "To help spread the word about licensed, English subtitled Asian media, I've recently started a community called AsianPopShock. I'm using data I've collected over time (plus news blurbs that I'm always following) to help build the comm as a resource for Asian drama and movie (and music) fans. I post blurbs about licensing news, contests and sales, all the in hopes of further informing those who are interested in having physical copies of what they love."
