I'd like him to come here, but not to Las Vegas. I'm just worried he'd go there, do his glam rock stuff, and not be taken seriously. (And, really, with lines like "classy like none of these hoes" I think it's a fairly valid worry.)

That's my worry too. I'd love for him to come to the US, but if his intentions are to promote his songs in the American music industry...Well. His music and dancing might go over well, but definitely not the lyrics, at least.

You'd think he would know this, given that he stayed here for a while. But then, I have a feeling that those sort of lines go over a lot better when you add club music, lights, alcohol, and an adorable accent. To the mainstream though? No way that would go over well.

Yeah, exactly. He's probably just caught up in the whole concept of Western music and the club scene and wants to take it to America because this is where it fits. But even if he does, really the only people that'll attend the concerts will be fans like us on lj who already support him and want to see him live, not a huge group of Americans which is probably what he wants. :\

But you know. If he makes it over here, all the more power to him. ♥ I'd kill to be there, lol. I just don't want him to end up disappointed that what he's aiming to do probably won't end up working out.
