On Thursday it was announced that former AKB48 member Sayaka Akimoto and actor Kanata Hongo will star in Sakichi Sato’s Doreiku: Boku to 23-nin no Dorei.
The movie marks Akimoto’s first lead role since 2009’s Seishirayuri Kishidan: Super Gore Girl. It’s based on a story by Shinichi Okada which was originally published on the user-generated content website Everystar, reaching over 16.6 million readers.
The story involves a game of psychological warfare in which 23 people wear a special device called “SCM” which can be used to turn other players into their slaves. The film will include mature themes such as massacre scenes, domination, and sexual content.
Akimoto plays Eia Arakawa, a girl with a cold personality who dabbles in various romances without taking anything too seriously. Meanwhile, Hongo plays Yuuga Oota, an eloquent, smart young man who gradually descends into insanity when he becomes wrapped up in the darkness of the game.
“Doreiku: Boku to 23-nin no Dorei” will be released nation-wide in Japan sometime in 2014.

Nikkansports The article from Nikkansports also mentioned that Yuuga is falling in love with his sister Eia. But in the original story, Yuuga and Eia are not siblings. Not sure if the article was wrong or they changed the setting in the movie.
