Referencing back to when Jin debuted in U.S.A, Mr. Kitagawa commented about Jin in this manner: "He (Akanishi) is a unique guy, but he should give some actual results in Japan first before being active overseas".

IMO, Jin can't make it at this point here in the US. I've been to two of his concerts here and majority of the people I saw were Asians. I live in the SF bay area where there are a lot of Asians but his concerts were not fully packed, the second one wasn't even near. I love the kid but let's be realistic. You need at least one hit song before the non-JE fans start noticing. And they are what counts (acquisition-wise). It's a good strategy for him to continue in Japan. He'll keep writing, he'll have his second chance.

I am not familiar with the artist you mentioned but I'm assuming that the concert was just a tour for the fans and that they weren't really aiming for penetrating the US market.

I found Johnny's comment/advice to Jin soooo hypocritical !
first they brag about Jin doing it big on the US etc ETC when everything was OK and focusing little in Japan then after the incident now suddenly he says Jin should focus more on Japan results first...while I do agree that it is the most logical and safe way of thinking for his solo career certainly they agreed and supported him and everything was just fine, now he says otherwise...LAME AND HYPOCRITICAL !
Some fans will certainly be furious because its obvious WHY now they are focusing in Japan...not a good strategy speciallywhen OVERSEAS fans have bn the most supportive on this moment... again LAME !

Johnny U OLD FART PUT UR FACTS TOGETHER!!...after the "incident" sometimes I think he actually wants Jin to flop, no idea why because he's losing money on "supporting" him

Geeez.... If he wants Jin to flop or not to have in the agency anymore he just could threw him out. But Jin is one of his most beloved ones. "Old fart" - wtf... look how you talk about older people, my mom would be angry if I wouldn't talk more respectful to seniors. lol

Nobody was braggin Jin - he was the one who wanted to go to US sooooo badly. In my opinion he was the one who bagged Kitagawa-san to go to US - we all know the results so Kitagawa-san is saying now "Sorry, before you trying it again - first make it big in Japan".
Well... I don't care so much about the boy but blaming Kitagawa-san... If I would be him at that time I would have kicked Jin out immediately with his kind of behaviour.. lol

first I respect my elders JUST NOT A PEDO, also Johnny wont just throw Jin out because aside from the contract he has witgh Johnny Jin also has a contract with WMJ which are two separate things and they dont compile to Johnny's rules agency and which is why they are doing more his promotions than Johnny's ( ... )

don't think it's meant as a prison sentence. There are so many guys that will get someone knocked up and then never take care of their families. So I think it was a test to see how responsible he is in taking care of his actions. Since he did a really good job taking care of his daughter and keeping his nose out of the tabloids and trouble it kinda shows he has grown up which gives the company less of a chance of losing money.
