Ratings Breakdown by Performance
The Kouhaku ratings peaked during the VTR compliation of all the performances of the night.
- Hosokawa and Koizai received the highest ratings for the first half of Kouhaku.
- Ikimonogakari received the highest rating for the red team for the second half.
- SMAP received the highest rating for the white team for the second half. They also had the highest rating overall.
- The show peaked with 50.8 for Kantou and 49.6 for Kansai during the VTR compilation of all the performances for the night.
