Weekly Oricon Chart: Albums/Singles/Music-DVDs
Popular Johnny's idol, Domoto Koichi from KinKi Kids has reached the top spot in the albums chart with his 3rd solo album, "Gravity." This is his 2nd no.1 solo album since his first original album in September 2006, "mirror," 6 years and 1 month ago. The album which title means "attraction/gravity" has 12 songs (Limited Edition has 11), including songs composed by himself like "Fallen Angel" and "LOVE CRIES."
In the singles chart, Johnny's 5-member idol group, Sexy Zone have achieved their 3rd consecutive no.1 single since debut with "Sexy Summer ni Yuki ga Furu." The last time a male group achieved 3 consecutive no.1 singles since debut is 7-member group, Kis-My-Ft2 half a year ago with "SHE! HER! HER!". For a male group in their teens, the last time it was accomplished was 4 years and 2 months ago with Hey!Say!JUMP's "Your Seed/Bouken Rider" (July 2008). The title track is the theme song to Fuji TV's "Real Scope Hyper", while the B-side track is the image song for TBS and Fuji TV's "2012 London Olympic Volleyball" titled "Kimi no Tame Boku ga Iru." Another track with a unit called Sexy Boyz consisting members Matsushima Sou (14) and Marius Yo (12) as well as another 6 of Johnny's Jrs titled "Ame Datte" is also included.
Meanwhile, 5-member rock band, MAN WITH A MISSION reached the no.1 spot in the music-DVD chart and no.2 in the overall DVD chart with "Ookami Daizenshu ①". This is their first number one in any Oricon music chart. The band began their activities in 2010 and had a major debut a year later. In April this year, their single "distance" reached 6th in the weekly chart for a first Top 10 ranking, while later in July, their album "MASH UP THE WORLD" reached 4th in the weekly chart for a first Top 5 ranking. This DVD includes their one-man live at SHIBUYA-AX Tokyo on May 27th this year, as well as offshot footage.

Singles chart looks pathetic except for the top 2. Top 10 albums chart is pretty OK though, thanks to older releases.
