Meanwhile, popular idol group, AKB48 have topped the music-DVD and overall DVD charts simultaneously with "AKB48 Request Hour Setlist Best 100 2012", their 5th no.1 music-DVD so far. This DVD is a collection of top 100 AKB48 and their sister groups' songs voted by fans. The event was held at TOKYO DOME CITY HALL, and it's the 5th event they have held so far. In addition, this DVD is ranked 4th in the first week among girl groups this year after their own "Seibu Dome Special BOX" (71k), Shoujo Jidai's "JAPAN FIRST TOUR GIRL'S GENERATION" (69k), and also AKB48's "Kouhaku Taikou Utagassen" (68k). At 5th place is KARA's "KARA BEST CLIPS II & Shows" (54k), completing the top 5 in girl groups ranking.
In the Blu-Ray chart, Tokyo Jihen who disbanded on February 29th this year have reached the no.1 spot with "Bon Voyage", which includes their final performance at Nippon Budokan. The BD has sold 20k in the first week, totalling to 49k of DVD+BD. Their previous live BD, "Discovery" (February 2012) held the highest cumulative sales with 18k, but has now been surpassed with "Bon Voyage." This is their 2nd time to have topped the overall BD chart since "Ultra C" (September 2010).
