Anonymous targets Sony over SOPA, Nintendo quietly withdraws support

Sony and  Nintendo  were previously on the House of Representatives’ list of SOPA supporters. Now Nintendo has disappeared from the list, and only Sony’s music divisions remain. The companies, hoping to avoid drawing attention, have yet to acknowledge the change or make any public ( Read more... )

A lot of it is still because of a terrible congress. Hes unfortunate to have probably one of the most inefficient ones in history.

But yeah, kinda agree with your second point.

For me it was quickly rushed over to the point I couldn't really tell you much of anything. Plus unlucky me my semster I had Goverment Class was 2004-2005 aka electio year, so they like to waste time talking about that then teach.

But like I said, that was for me. Not even my husband who went to the same school, but had a differant teacher and took it in the last semester of the year, was taugt the same stuff as me. ...And so lays the problem with in the USA schools, but that's a whole other matter.

Most of my SS classes here in Alaska, cover basic history events that every hostory 101 class has, Lots of World history (Internatal area so it can't be helpped), Native and Alaska History, and how to run cities (A very fun thing when you're teachers are Star Wars and Star Tark Fans). When I think about it, the only time we really got into leanring about the Goverment was covering Roman history and how it infulanced our Goverment, Any election year, somethin big happened in to the city or state Goverment and then once we started High School ( ... )
