"Before we even debuted I knew there was no space for Asian people in hip hop. [Americans] are consumed in their own world and even Asian Americans are not really in there.
Sadly he's got it more or less right. We have very few Asian American stars and when they are there they're either stereotypes or props *coughglee* >_>;
I wonder who it was they had a hard time recording with...
ikr? Especially after that entire episode where Sue was like, "Mr. Scheuster hates minorities" I thought they'd step up their roles a bit more after funnily enough pointing out a problem with their show though I guess it wasn't on purpose, but no dice...
he's pretty realistic about Asians making it into the US. BoA and Se7en are having a hard time trying to break it. I haven't even heard any of their songs once on the radio. I'm not quite sure how the Wondergirls are doing.
I happened to be in and out of a store called Justice (it's marketed towards girls from like 4-12 I think, my cousin absolutely loves the place) and every time I was there, I heard the English version of "Nobody" at least four times. One of the employees told me the store is trying to promote the group, but they...don't carry any actual physical copies of Wonder Girls' stuff. Okay then!
WG hit 78 on the Billboard Charts. And like panonychus said, they're being promoted in Justice stores. The girls themselves were in a Justice store in NYC and one in NJ (which is right by my school but I didn't go see them. lol)

haha aw ILUSFM BARBARU. _ "I'm not hiding it, I think back then it didn't seem amicable. We were on a TV show and everyone gets in arguments sometimes. We were really bushed after a show and Lisa had a bad day and said something, and in the TV show they ended with that part like it was a big deal. We had our differences but you know, I have known Taku since 1985 and I don't agree with everything he does [either], but we are like brothers. The media wanted to portray it that way, and I was thinking, 'Do you really have to quit?' I always say we were the Guns N' Roses minus Axl Rose at that point."
shit breaks my heart everytime oh well. The Tripod is still a family now :')
m-flo's music was what inspired me to continue with music, myself ... I'm excited to see what they have planned for the future. If the "♥" era is over, I suppose my dream of performing with m-flo probably is too, haha. But I'll still follow them until they decide they've done enough. :]
