I don't know... is it really that simple? I mean, just an example: I love Shibutani Subaru's voice. But he can really keep his shirt on for all I care. ^^" At the same time, shirtless Yamapi is a sight. I don't need to hear him sing, but I enjoy watching his moves. Being talented doesn't end with one's voice. The fact that they're all in singing bands might be something that's debatable. XD Still, so long as they are capable at something, I think it's justified that they are - well, where they are. ^^

Man, Johnny is everywhere lately...

I agree that johnnys aren't all good looking (in the "typical" kind of way anyway) and that it's not enough to get the job done. Motivation is everything. And having talent is more than being able to sing, dance, act or MC-ing. The "best" idols are those that are great at networking. *Those* are the ones that gets the jobs, opportunities, and thus the attention.
