<3 yay. Who was affected in the group? I heard one of the SKE48 girls was evacuated or something

I don't mean for this to sound insensitive if it does- but akbingo is canceled this week right?

As nice as this is, there's always a nagging feeling inside of me when celebrities feel the need to announce their good deeds. idk. it just makes it seem... less sincere I suppose.

Well it's a way of getting others more aware of the situation. "If -- did this, so should I."

As well as some people might wonder if they were going to put money in their own bank account they set up for the situation.

Its a way to get the ball rolling. Lots of people follow after celebrities.

Plus, if they didn't mention it, they would be highly criticized. Its a damned if they do, damned if they don't, damned if they say anything about it.

But, I've also noticed, that you've made this comment in very post about a celebrity donating (both here and omona). What happened to you that made you so cynical? At the end of the day, money is going to victims and i celebrities are influencing others to help. Win-Win.

Well there's reports of them using concert trucks to carry relief items to the victims.

Just saw the new post on this. That's really good to know, the decadence of those concerts does seem really out of place in this situation and it's good that JE is putting the excess resources to good use. :) Thanks for letting me know!

i think its something of a rule that JE talents should donate anonymously or not reveal the sum of donation. for all the years they've been supporting NTV 24hr charity program, non of them ever revealed how much they contributed to the charity. they would only say they have contributed.
