yes, a new journal
I got bored with the old one, especially the name. I wanted a new name so I thought why not go ahead and make a new layout too? I had this banner before like forever ago but I like it so much that I wanted to use it again.
So yesterday I helped out at a Chinese Church conference at Roger Williams University in RI with the Beachells and Maria and it was quite fun. There was a TON of kids, almost 100, but they were pretty well behaved considering. We had a lot of fun with them. The only disappointment was that we ate our meals in the school caf and it was American food, not Chinese. Bummer, right? Oh well.
I didn't run at all last week. I just didn't feel up to it at all. Yeah I'm mad at myself now, because I wanna do the 5k in Middleboro on Saturday and I knew it wouldn't be a great time because I don't run like I used to, but I thought I'd have a slight chance at getting a somewhat decent time if I had been consistent in training. Yet I'm not going to let that stop me. Even though I just didn't train for a whole week, I'm still gonna do the race and have fun even if my time is horrendous.
So I saw Pirates 3 on Friday and it was fantastic. I'd see it again in the theater it was that good. Ahh I wish I could marry Will Turner! Ok, so I'm a little jealous of Elizabeth. ;)
As of last week my new favorite singer is James Morrison. I saw a video for one of his songs on VH1 like weeks ago and I really liked it but I forgot the name. Then somebody had a song from him on their myspace and I thought, hey that name sounds familiar. And sure enough, it was the same person! He's playing in Boston in July and I really wanna go. We'll see!
So basically, this is the slowest computer ever. Grr. Ok that's all for now. I'm kinda tired still but I wanna go out and run. We'll see if I actually do. Maybe a walk with my aunt instead if she's up for it. I just don't have the energy I should have anymore. I've been just dragging for like the past month. Not fun. Hm. Ok. Bye!
