Stuff I Hate #6: I saw Jesus / Elvis / Britney Spears in a marshmallow!

Why the hell do they continue to let things like this make the news? Here I am, browsing around for stories, and several sites link to this and consider it worth reporting on. Really.. Jesus and Mary in.. a lava lamp? It's a freakin' bit of molten plastic or whatever the hell the stuff in there is made out of! The guy even mentions he hasn't turned it on since; if it was a REAL miracle then why not leave it turned on? If it maintained that shape for a year while heat was actively being applied.. then you'd have something unique at least..
And of course, ironically, I'm giving more recognition and possibly more hits to this loon's website (linked in the news story, I ain't gonna link it directly) by mentioning it. There's plenty of other examples like this, they aren't neccessarily religious either. I can understand tabloids making up stuff about Elvis being spotted alive in x location but.. legitimate news reporting organizations like CNN, the Associated Press and Reuters? C'mon!
