道端ジェシカ：桂由美のウエディングドレスでパリコレデビュー バトンとの結婚は無言
モデルの道端ジェシカさん（２５）が、１０年春夏のパリ・オートクチュールコレクション、デザイナー・桂由美さんのコレクションのモデルに起用されることが１４日、明らかになった。道端さんは、オーストリッチの羽をあしらったドレスで登場、パリコレではウエディングドレスも発表する予定で、「まさか自分にオファーがあるとは思わなかったので、びっくりしてうれしかった。母が一番喜んでくれました。パリコレはモデルだったら誰でもあこがれる舞台。緊張すると思うけど楽しんで頑張りたい」と喜びを語った

On the 14th, it was revealed that model Michibata Jessica (25) was appointed as a model in Katsura Yumi's collection in the 2010 Spring-Summer Paris Haute Couture Collection. With plans to announce the Paris Collection wedding dress, Michibata appeared in an ostrich-feather dress and talked of her joy, saying, "I was surprised and happy because I never thought I would given this kind of offer. My mother was the most glad. If you are a model, Paris Collection is the stage everyone admires. I think I'll be nervous, but I want to do the best I can and have fun."
The 2010 Spring-Summer Paris Collection will open on the 27th of January (local time) at The Westin Paris. With the theme of "ENCHANTED FOREST", Katsura announced around 25 new pieces with the overflowing charm of nature and Michibata will appear as a model wearing two pieces. The wedding dress will have a design with the theme of "bride in the ice".
Katsura, who has participated in the Paris Collection 10 times since 2002, said, "She has the height and good looks, she won't have an unfavorable impression at the Paris Collection, so I asked for Michibata, who is a fashion leader-like existence for the younger generation," explaining the reason for the appointment, "Due to the recession, haute couture has decreased year by year. The roles of haute couture are dreams and hopes. My focus is on the unusual thing called weddings, and I want to do a production that will bring forth a bright dream."
Michibata, who is rumored to be getting married to F1 driver Jenson Button, answered after being asked who would most want to see her in a wedding dress, "Everyone," dodging the question, and when ever someone tried, she only smiled.
