Almost There
I spent my last terrible night of not sleeping in my room. The first two nights I was here, I slept on a mattress on the floor. The third I spent on a couch which was entirely too small for me (V position 130 degrees). Last night I slept in the basement. Cold, dirty, and smelly. The tenants didn't take care of it at all, and they smoked and read porn down there...who knows what may fall off me my next shower. To top this all off, before I fell asleep I saw a silverfish the size of a baby chipmunk. Need I say more? I slept with the lights on, they're less likely to come out.
This post isn't entirely pessimistic. I get to move into my room tonight. I also love every one of my classes so far. All of them interest me, and two of them will help me with the board game creator I'm developing. I still need to complete the implementation of an indexed tree though...otherwise I won't be able to develop BGL (Board Game Language) further. This may take a while (years).
At any rate, my living situation sucks now, but It will greatly improve when I move in and assemble my furniture tonight.
