and not of my own volition. I was asked to help at PC on the 6-2 shift. I stayed until 12, but during that time, I had a stunning array of revelations. One of them quite literally dug itself under my fingernail. No, it wasn't a tick. Someone, it appears, managed to get a piece of glass stuck in my gloves...and it wasn't me. Upon pulling said sliver of glass out of my finger and wondering what wonderful bacteria could have been on it, I mused at the irony of getting hurt while putting on protective gear.
Moving forward, I spied a pallet in the back room today that claimed it's contents were used utilized applied used (sorry thornton) to spread breast cancer awareness. I don't mean that the pallet actually addressed me...though if it had, I would have been highly amused, as it contained Lays potato chips. Now if I had to hazard a guess as to whether said chips were more likely to spread cancer awareness (a great cause) or cause cancer, I would go with the latter. People don't tend to look at the bag when the eat chips, because they don't want to know about the fat, salt, and small children they're ingesting.
Having bitched about PC, I will continue. I came home, took a shower, and headed out to my sister's fiance-e's house to pick up stuff to bring with us tomorrow. I came back and finished FMA. SO FUCKING GOOD! I'M DEPRESSED BECAUSE NOW I NEED TO DEVOTE A GOOD PART OF MY SUMMER TO WATCHING MORE ANIME! I was very stupid asking to be led into this...surely I knew where it would lead (addiction). Have to start another soon. *blames Tammy and self*
Now I've helped my sister/dad pack the moving truck. If I had to guess how many (literally) tons of stuff I moved today, I would have to say at least 2.5. Want to see Doctor Who. Figures I won't be around tomorrow.
